On Friday Brattleboro take on St. Johnsbury Academy at 7:00 PM. Brattleboro will really need to gear up for this challenge, as St. Johnsbury Academy will be their toughest opponent yet.
After soaring to 43 points the game before, Brattleboro faltered in their contest last Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 7-29 walloping at Burlington/South Burlington's hands.
Meanwhile, St. Johnsbury Academy faced Rice Memorial in a battle between two of the state's top teams. St. Johnsbury Academy had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it last Saturday as the squad lost 29-30 to Rice Memorial.
Brattleboro have to be hurting after a devastating 20-53 defeat at the hands of St. Johnsbury Academy the last time the two teams met. Can Brattleboro avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
