The Casa Roble Rams will face off against the Liberty Ranch Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Casa Roble is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Hughson an 8-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on three straight.

The result came thanks to Cassandra Alvarez's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Gianna Giannini was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Zaria Gee, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Casa Roble was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are a perfect 13-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch won against West Campus on Wednesday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over Sutter. The Hawks are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.
Laura Quinn spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits.
At the plate, Bella Granata was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Paityn Snow was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
Liberty Ranch pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Casa Roble, their win bumped their record up to 17-6-1.
Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Casa Roble hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .425. However, it's not like Liberty Ranch struggles in that department as they've averaged .393. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
