The Liberty Christian Warriors put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past All S 42-13 on the road. Given Liberty Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 29th, while All S is ranked 193rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Chase Garnett, who rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Garnett hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for seven straight games. Cooper Witten got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Liberty Christian's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. As for All S, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
Liberty Christian will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Lubbock Christian at 6:00 p.m. Lubbock Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for All S, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Worth Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Worth Christian is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
