Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Ada-Borup

Ada-Borup waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 67-60 win over the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ada-Borup got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin McCraven out in front who went 5 for 8 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. The matchup was McCraven's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Cadyn Dahl was another key player, putting up 22 points.

Ada-Borup's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ada-Borup will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Win-E-Mac at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, they will welcome Albert Lea at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Albert Lea's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
