Pymatuning Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Maplewood, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2.
Everything came up roses for Pymatuning Valley against Maplewood when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 67-17 win. With Pymatuning Valley ahead 34-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
