1. Lincoln (Sioux Falls)
2013-14 finish: 13-13
Head coach: Jeff Halseth

The Patriots are back after losing to Roosevelt in the Class AA state title game, not a bad run for a No. 8 seed. So they were .500 and only a No. 8 seed and are ranked No. 1 this season? Yep, because there was only one senior on last year's team. Addison Park returns after his all-state performance last season (14.5 points per game).

2. Washington (Sioux Falls)
2013-14 finish: 15-11
Head coach: Craig Nelson

The Warriors lost to Lincoln in the Class AA semifinals and finished third last season. Replacing Brett Stanley and his more than 18 points per game will be tough. Six players are set to return, including junior Sam Siganos, forward Deng Gue and center Matt Farniok.

3. O'Gorman (Sioux Falls)
2013-14 finish: 11-13
Head coach: Derek Robey

The Knights have all-state second-team player Braxton Elliott coming back after he scored 16 points per game last season. It was a guard-heavy team last year but Nathan Byrd and his 6-foot-7 frame will be back in the middle at center.

4. Roosevelt (Sioux Falls)
2013-14 finish: 22-3
Head coach: Lee Taylor

The defending AA state champs will definitely need to rebuild after 11 seniors graduated. Taryn Christion is back for his senior year and Jett Thune will play his second varsity season, this time as a junior.

5. Sturgis Brown
2013-14 finish: 13-12
Head coach: Robert Thompson

There's a new coach in town for the Scoopers and they will look to return to the state tournament, where they went 0-3 last year. They return Kellen Barden, a 6-foot-8, 230-pound athlete, and Beau Ireland returns for his junior year.
