The Antwerp Archers put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 48-43 victory over Crestview.
Landon Brewer was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Carson Altimus, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Antwerp pushed their record up to 10-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Crestview, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Antwerp and Edgerton will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Edgerton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 728th, while Antwerp is ranked 116th).
