Stroudsburg is 9-1 against Pocono Mountain West since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Mountaineers will welcome the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Stroudsburg will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Stroudsburg had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt East Stroudsburg North on Tuesday. The Mountaineers were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Timberwolves. The Mountaineers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

As for Pocono Mountain West, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
Stroudsburg's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's matchup. The Mountaineers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Pocono Mountain West, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Stroudsburg continue to outrun the ball?
Stroudsburg took their win against Pocono Mountain West in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 14-0 score. Will the Mountaineers repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
