They claimed a resounding 72-42 win over Cheraw at home. Chesterfield's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Chesterfield was led to victory by Terrahjah Robinson and Kierra Diggs. Robinson scored 19 points along with five assists and five rebounds, while Diggs dropped a double-double on 19 points and 19 rebounds. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Diggs has scored at least 25% of Chesterfield's points. Jaeda Johnson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 15 rebounds and three steals.
Chesterfield's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Cheraw, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Chesterfield will head out on the road to face off against North Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cheraw, they will square off against South Florence at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
