The Emmett Huskies lost against the Ridgevue Warhawks last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Emmett was beaten by Ridgevue 68-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Emmett has scored all season.
It was another big night for Javonte Boles, who scored 31 points for Ridgevue. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Boles has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gavin Joseph malvini, who scored nine points.
Emmett dropped their record down to 8-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Ridgevue, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Emmett will take on Vallivue at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Idaho (Vallivue is ranked 70th, while Emmett is ranked 82nd). As for Ridgevue, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Caldwell at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Ridgevue knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight games -- so hopefully Caldwell likes a good challenge.
