It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Randleman Tigers can now relate to. They suffered a tough 35-14 loss at the hands of Forest Hills on Friday. The contest was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but Randleman couldn't answer the 21 points Forest Hills scored afterwards.
Although Randleman took the loss, they still got scores from Amari Ferdna and Tyshaun Goldston.
Forest Hills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brady Hibbard, who threw for 297 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerel Bolder, who picked up 130 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Randleman's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Forest Hills, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
Randleman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Forest Hills will head out on the road to face off against Community School of Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Community School of Davidson will stroll in with a five game home winning streak, but they should still watch out: the last time they lost at home was their September 8 matchup with Forest Hills.
