The Gadsden County Jaguars are on the road again on Tuesday and play against the Suwannee Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Gadsden County earned a 46-36 victory over Wakulla.
Meanwhile, Suwannee scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Taylor County with a sharp 59-36 victory. Given Suwannee's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while Taylor County is ranked 601st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Gadsden County's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Suwannee, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Gadsden County might still be hurting after the 55-31 loss they got from Suwannee in their previous matchup two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Suwannee's Shadavia Jones, who scored 18 points. Now that Gadsden County knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
