Donald Barksdale Goes Supernova in Steel Valley Victory
Donald Barksdale's big game helped extend Steel Valley's winning streak to six on Friday. Barksdale did his part (and then some), rushing for 208 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also picking up 86 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 86 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Barksdale might just drop another big game when he faces off against Washington on Friday. Back in August (the last time Barksdale saw the Prexies), he rushed for 327 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry.

Jablunovsky Made His Presence Known in Ligonier Valley's 31-28 Defeat
While Ligonier Valley might've come up empty on Friday, John Jablunovsky wasn't going down without a fight. Jablunovsky was dynamite, rushing for 185 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. He is becoming a predictor of Ligonier Valley's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 0-6 when he doesn't).
Apollo Ridge had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Jablunovsky it was a similar story. Jablunovsky rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 53 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Vikings duked it out back in September of 2023.
