Parker is 1-9 against Minor since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. Parker will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, Parker got the win against Wenonah by a conclusive 14-6. The Thundering Herd might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Chelsea Ware made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs but no hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Parker let Alyssia Buckhana and Brooke Moss run wild. Buckhana fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-2, while Moss went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Buckhana a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Khouri Mason, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Minor was a bit more limited in their game last Thursday. They came up short against Homewood, falling 17-2.
Alana Watkins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.
Parker's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Minor, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Parker hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .393. However, it's not like Minor struggles in that department as they've averaged .440. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Parker might still be hurting after the 16-8 loss they got from Minor in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Parker avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
