The Patriot Prep Academy Eagles came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down Delaware Christian 53-36. That's another feather in the cap for Patriot Prep Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Patriot Prep Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Thomas, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Thomas hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Dominic Sammons, who scored 14 points along with five assists.
Patriot Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Delaware Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patriot Prep Academy will challenge East Knox at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Knox comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Delaware Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Madison Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
