Captain Shreve has gone a perfect 4-0 against Weston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Captain Shreve Gators will venture away from home to challenge the Weston Wolves at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Captain Shreve is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 17-1 margin over Huntington on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won nine games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Ella Hendrick made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in February. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Captain Shreve let Anna Grace Stier and Aubry Townsend run wild. Stier went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Townsend scored two runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits Stier has posted over her last nine matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Zariah Bogan, who scored three runs while going 1-for-2.

Captain Shreve always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .741. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Weston came into Tuesday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Doyline 15-5 on Tuesday. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Wolves this season.

Captain Shreve is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. Weston's record now sits at 4-7.

Captain Shreve took their victory against Weston in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 20-4. Will Captain Shreve repeat their success, or does Weston have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
