Will Holden gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Monday. He struck out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
