After flying high against the Western Harnett Eagles last Friday, the Overhills Jaguars came back down to earth. Overhills was outmatched by Berean Baptist Academy on the road and fell 83-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Overhills has scored all season.
Ej Stokes was Overhills' leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Overhills now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Berean Baptist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.
Overhills will be playing at home against Triton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Triton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Overhills likes a good challenge. Berean Baptist Academy will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Freedom Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th.
