Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Colfax walked away with it. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cornell/Lake Holcombe Knights an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.

Colfax is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Colfax will challenge Boyceville on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Cornell/Lake Holcombe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
