Pamlico County is a perfect 10-0 against Lejeune since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hurricanes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Devilpups at 6:00 p.m. Pamlico County will be strutting in after a win while Lejeune will be coming in after a defeat.
On Friday, Pamlico County got the win against Jones Senior by a conclusive 13-1. The Hurricanes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Avery Cain was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Payton Force was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Sarah Scott, who went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and three runs.
Meanwhile, Lejeune fell victim to Northside - Pinetown and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 13-0. The Devilpups have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lejeune saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Breslyn Weeks, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.
Lejeune now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Pamlico County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12.
Everything went Pamlico County's way against Lejeune in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Pamlico County made off with a 15-0 win. Will the Hurricanes repeat their success, or do the Devilpups have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
