The Ogden Tigers will face off against the West Side Pirates at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ogden is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
Ogden's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Providence Hall 12-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Ogden let Baelee Ulm and Kassidy Waddell run wild. Ulm went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Waddell went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Ulm has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Hazel Nadolski, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Ogden always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 27 runs the game before, West Side was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They lost 13-2 to Wendell. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.
West Side saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Halle Wade, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Ogden has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like West Side struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Ogden got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 against West Side by a conclusive 16-0 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
