The Canyon View Falcons had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down North Sanpete 55-40 on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Canyon View, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Canyon View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kamryn Brush, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for her. Maya Nichols was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Canyon View's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5. As for North Sanpete, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canyon View will take on Manti at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Manti is ranked 79th, while Canyon View is ranked 57th). As for North Sanpete, they will head out on the road to face off against Juab at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Juab will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
