The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Oconee Christian Academy in their matchups with Laurens Academy: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Oconee Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Carson Duncan, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Frick, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Oconee Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Laurens Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oconee Christian Academy will challenge Anderson Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Laurens Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Wardlaw Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
