Curtis won the last time they faced Kentwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Vikings walked away with a 30-20 victory over the Conquerors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Kentwood's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darian Williams, who picked up 125 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 36 yards and one touchdown. Another pass catcher making a difference was Trevon Mayfield, who picked up 124 receiving yards and one score.

Curtis' win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Kentwood, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.
