A well-balanced attack led Shining Light Academy over Lab University Prep Varsity in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. The Shining Light Academy Knights blew past the Lab University Prep Varsity Kings 60-36. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Shining Light Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Lash, who went 10-for-14 en route to 25 points and six boards. The contest was Lash's third in a row with at least 15 points. Harry Uwaifo was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Lab University Prep Varsity saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Moses Springer posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Theus, who scored seven points.

Shining Light Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Lab University Prep Varsity, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Shining Light Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-60 win against Calvary Christian on the 11th. Lab University Prep Varsity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
