The School of Los Angeles Coyote will be playing in front of their home fans against the USC-MAE Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but The School of Los Angeles had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They managed a 48-44 victory over the Warriors. The victory was just what The School of Los Angeles needed coming off of a 66-41 defeat in their prior matchup.
The School of Los Angeles found their leader in underclassman Oliver Sobul, who scored 23 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Sobul has scored at least a third of The School of Los Angeles' points. Another player making a difference was Itai Pedowitz, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, USC-MAE waltzed into their game last Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They had just enough and edged Central City Value out 37-35.
The School of Los Angeles has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for USC-MAE, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
