Hot Springs took down Little Wound/Crazy Horse 65-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Justin Harkless threw for 108 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 11 yards in the win.

Custer's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chase Glazier threw for 121 and two touchdowns and Jared Thomsen had 102 yards receiving. On the ground Kenneth Myers chipped in 79 yards. Israel Parsons helped Custer's passing attack out by catching one ball for 10 yards.
Joel Thomsen made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Wildcats topped Hill City. The 6-foot-1 sophomore grabbed 2.0 sacks.
Custer's Glazier and Thomsen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Glazier has thrown for 863 yards this season, while Thomsen, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has nine catches for 261 yards. Hot Springs' Jake Oberpriller leads the league in rushing yards with 600.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ben Kramer's team takes on Russ Bailey's team. At the moment, the Bison are in first, while the Wildcats are in third.
There should be lots of points scored when Hot Springs and Custer face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Bison comes in having scored 201 this season, while the Wildcats have scored 145. Hot Springs scored 65 points last week as it beat Little Wound/Crazy Horse.
Douglas made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,362 from 12,273. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 36-7 victory over Belle Fourche last week.
