Rockbridge Academy has gone  a perfect 7-0 against Greater Grace Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Scots will face off against the Eagles at 3:00  p.m. Rockbridge Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4  runs per game  this season.
Rockbridge Academy is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Covenant Life  on Thursday. The Scots blew past the Cougars 15-3. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Scots considering their one-run performance the  matchup before.

 John Ault and  Will Schingeck were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing,  Ault   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Schingeck   struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Ault has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances. At the plate,  Ault  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Schingeck  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  doubles. Rockbridge Academy is 3-1 when  Schingeck posts two or  more  stolen bases, but 1-3 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Evan Tessneer was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Samuel Parlette, who  went 1-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Rockbridge Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .393. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
 Meanwhile, Greater Grace Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  last Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  19-6 to Mount Airy Christian Academy.
 The  win  got Rockbridge Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Greater Grace Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Rockbridge Academy took their  victory against Greater Grace Christian Academy  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  14-4 score. Do  the Scots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
