Luke Schager Turns in Season-Best Performance
Luke Schager produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Orland to the win on Friday. Schager rushed for 417 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 16.0 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 88-yard run.
If the past is any indication, Schager could be in store for another big game when he takes on Corning on Friday. Two weeks ago (the last time Schager saw the Cardinals), he rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns.

Gus Stogsdill's Big Game Leads Gridley over University Prep
Gus Stogsdill's big game helped extend Gridley's winning streak to five on Friday. Stogsdill was unstoppable, rushing for 237 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also throwing for 71 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 175 rushing yards.
Gridley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Stogsdill and Gridley are on the road again on Friday to play Lassen at 7:00 p.m.

Corning found a leader in Kaleb Flournoy as the team took down Yreka on Friday. Flournoy turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
