Leading Aliceville to victory were Tyquan Simon and Keanthony Wilder. Simon scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Wilder scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Simon grabbed two or more steals.
Greene County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Egan Daley, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jhari Barnes, who scored nine points.
Even though they lost, Greene County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Aliceville only pulled down eight offensive rebounds.
The victory got Aliceville back to even at 4-4. As for Greene County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
