After flying high against Wiley last Friday, Walsh came back down to earth. The Eagles took a 45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Granada Bobcats on Friday. Even though they lost, the Eagles' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 26.1 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Hudson Gourley threw for 292 yards and four touchdowns. Samuel Wright was his top target, picking up 97 receiving yards and one score.

Sebastian Pizarro produced another solid performance rushing for 359 yards and five TDs while picking up 18.0 yards per carry, and also picking up 52 receiving yards and one score for Granada. Those 359 rushing yards gave Pizarro a new career-high.

Walsh has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Granada, their record now sits at 5-2.

Coming up, Walsh will welcome Hanover at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Hornets have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. As for Granada, they will challenge Cheyenne Wells at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight.
