Defeat or not, Harford Tech got some senior leadership from Jessica Castro and Sophia Mace. Castro scored five points along with five steals, while Mace. scored nine points along with four steals. Castro is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Delaney Klaus, who scored six points.
Edgewood's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Harford Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Edgewood will challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maryland (Rising Sun is ranked 57th, while the Rams are ranked 55th). As for Harford Tech, they will be playing at home against the Cougars at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
