The Southwest Raiders''s three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They blew past North Side 42-0 at home. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Southwest had established a 32 point advantage.
It was another big night for Martavious Boswell, who rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Hector Martinez, who rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown.
Southwest's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for North Side, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Southwest will face off against Polytechnic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Side, they will be playing at home against Arlington Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
