They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 11-3 walloping at the hands of the American Heritage Patriots.  Mater Lakes Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jeuri La Rosa, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Andres Gomez, who  went 1-for-2 with a  triple and a  run.
 On American Heritage's side,  Mark Aleman looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (he also only allowed one  walk). Aleman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Lucas Ramirez was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Joseph Castro, who  went 2-for-2 with three  RBI and a  stolen base.
 Mater Lakes Academy's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 8-8. As for American Heritage, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mater Lakes Academy will  challenge Doral Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Doral Academy is coming into the  match with four straight  wins at home,  so Mater Lakes Academy will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum. As for American Heritage, they will head out on the road to  take on  West Boca Raton at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. American Heritage's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so West Boca Raton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
