They were the clear victor by a 68-46 margin over Parkrose. For Canby, this counts as revenge for the 67-61 loss Parkrose walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Canby's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dallas Michel, who scored 23 points along with three steals. The match was Michel's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jack Brauckmiller, who scored nine points along with 13 rebounds and five steals.
Canby's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Parkrose, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canby will take on Oregon City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkrose, they will be playing at home against Putnam at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
