In what's become a running theme this season, the Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 63-18 victory over Don Pedro at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-7.
Tayden Collins was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 20 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Ben Holt College Prep Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Samir Khan, who scored 11 points.
Ben Holt College Prep Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Don Pedro, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ben Holt College Prep Academy will face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stockton Christian is on a nine-game streak of home wins, the Bobcats a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
