West Side lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Miley Cundick, who scored seven points. Another player making a difference was Holly Kropf, who scored six points.
West Side bumped their record down to 2-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.0 points per game. As for Malad, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Side will take on Grace at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Malad, they will head out on the road to face off against Ririe at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
