The Seneca Golden Eagles and the Delsea Crusaders squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Seneca Golden Eagles had to settle for second. Seneca took a serious blow against Delsea, falling 43-7. Seneca's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Anthony Tirico threw for 153 yards and a touchdown. Mark Richardson was his top target, picking up 65 receiving yards.
Seneca's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Delsea, they have yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 10-1 record.
Seneca does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Delsea will square off against Camden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Camden is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
