Southern Door took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Kewaunee, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Storm 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Southern Door took Kewaunee into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-20, 15-7.

Alanah Kaye paced Southern Door's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kaye got some help from Harper Kramer and her 18 assists. Audrey Plzak controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Southern Door's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 12-10. As for Kewaunee, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-4.
