Arizona Lutheran Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Kingman Academy likes a good challenge.
Arizona Lutheran Academy put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They blew past Trivium Prep, posting a 55-28 victory on the road. Given Arizona Lutheran Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while Trivium Prep is ranked 282nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Kingman Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 43-31 win over Trivium Prep.
Kingman Academy found their leader in underclassman Taylee Mote, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 23 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mote has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Hatchell, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Arizona Lutheran Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Kingman Academy, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Arizona Lutheran Academy against Kingman Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 46-13 win.
