There's no place like home for Bayard Rustin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Sun Valley Vanguards with a sharp 10-0 win on Monday. The Golden Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
AJ Calio was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Calio was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-2.
In other pitching news, Alex Kennedy looked comfortable as he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
