 On West Park's side,  Jessica Cochran spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and two unearned) runs on eight hits. Those nine  innings set a new season-high mark for her.
 At the plate,  Mady Schultze was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Isabella Huston, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs and a  triple.
 Ponderosa's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for West Park, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with that  win, which was their seventh straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Ponderosa will take on Lincoln at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Ponderosa's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5  runs per game  this season, so Lincoln's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for West Park, they will head out on the road to  take on  Bear River at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bear River is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.4  runs per game  this season.
