South Hills's game  on Saturday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Saturday. They came out on top against the California Condors by a score of  14-4 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The team also got some help courtesy of  Mikayla Sta. Ana, who  went 3-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.

South Hills is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6-1 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for California,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 14-9.
 Coming up, South Hills will host Los Altos  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Conquerors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for California, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  7-1  win against Valley Christian on the 22nd.
