Perrin-Whitt came out on top against Bellevue on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fourth inning. The Pirates blew past the Eagles 13-2. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won eight matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Keagan Nevarez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Perrin-Whitt was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Perrin-Whitt pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Bellevue, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Perrin-Whitt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against Bryson on the 24th. Bellevue has also already played their next game (against Northside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
