Meanwhile, Raymond/South Bend scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Chief Leschi, posting a 61-28 victory on the road. That 61-28 margin sets a new team best for Raymond/South Bend this season.
Raymond/South Bend found their leader in underclassman Kassie Koski, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. The contest was Koski's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Kongbouakhay, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
North Beach's defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.8 points per game. As for Raymond/South Bend, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
