Southeast Kansas Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Big Game from Tunstall As Field Kindley Fell 13-6
Starting off the list is Field Kindley's Aaron Tunstall, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tunstall rushed for 192 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Tunstall must have Labette County's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Tunstall rushed for 262 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.6 yards per carry the last time he and the Grizzlies duked it out back in October of 2023.

While Conner Proffitt delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Pittsburg. Proffitt was dynamite, picking up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 35 yards. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 73 yards.
For the season, Proffitt has averaged 24.7 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 11 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 36 receiving yards.

Jackson Made His Presence Known in Labette County's 13-6 Victory
Labette County found a leader in Jamaal Jackson as the squad took down Field Kindley on Friday. Nobody could stop Jackson as he rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown.
Field Kindley's probably not too fond of Jackson given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Jackson saw the Golden Tornado), he rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
