The Kellis Cougars entered their tilt with the Westview Knights with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Kellis took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-0 victory over Westview. Considering Kellis has won five matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Ronald Coty iii, who rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Coty iii really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. Makai Atkinson made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Kellis' win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.67 points. As for Westview, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kellis will take on Cibola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westview, they will be playing at home against West Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
