Syracuse won the last time they faced Stanton County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Trojans. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Syracuse easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15.

Hailey Hampton paced Syracuse's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hampton got some help from Paige Haslett and her six assists. Sophie Gould controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Syracuse has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Stanton County, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Syracuse has already played their next matchup (against Southwestern Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Stanton County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Spearville on the 4th.
