The Worcester Tech Eagles stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 57-25 victory over Francis Parker Charter Essential School on the road. With Worcester Tech ahead 39-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Despite the defeat, Francis Parker Charter Essential School had strong showings from Liam Almond, who scored nine points along with five assists and three steals, and Zaden Merriam Bohannon, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds. Almond is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
Worcester Tech's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Francis Parker Charter Essential School, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Worcester Tech will take on Abby Kelley Foster at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Abby Kelley Foster will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 284th, while Worcester Tech is ranked 117th). As for Francis Parker Charter Essential School, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Blackstone Valley RVT at 4:30 p.m. Blackstone Valley RVT has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
