After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bellevue West, Park Hill South was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Central Indians. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won five in a row.

Park Hill South's victory bumped their record up to 14-6-1. As for Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Park Hill South is set to challenge their familiar foe Park Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Panthers have won three straight at home, while the Trojans won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Meanwhile, Central will take on rival Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Indians 3.6, the Blue Jays 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
